Abstract
BACKGROUND: Road traffic injuries are among the leading causes
of death and life-long disability globally.
OBJECTIVE: To assess the anatomic patterns of extremity
fracture among road traffic injury patients visiting Dessie referral hospital.
Material and Method: An institutional-based one-year
retrospective study was conducted in Dessie referral hospital from July 26 2020
to September 2020. All patients, those who were seen from June 2019 to June
2020 were studied. Study participants were extremity fracture patients.
