An enthusiastic, adaptive and quick-learning person with a broad range of interest in Physical Oceanography. I particularly enjoy collaborating with research personals from inter disciplinary background for constant learning and renewing scientific & technical skills and to solve new challenges.

Strong communication/presentation skills: presented data clearly & confidently to different scientific discussion panels and also content to the level of knowledge and understanding of others. Strong synthesizing, writing, and information technology skills: wrote scientific articles in international peer-reviewed journals, in sponsored project reports as well as the highly technical replies to the questions raised by the reviewers.

â€¢ The training on â€œCoastal and Marine Modelling using Mike 3 suiteâ€ in CSIR-NIO, Mumbai from 06th â€“ 10th March 2017.

â€¢ National workshop on â€œStatistical analysis and computational tools in ocean data processingâ€ in School of Marine Science, CUSAT held on 3rd â€“ 4th December 2018

a) Assisted in several scientific field works for recording oceanographic parameters in various Sponsored and Research projects.

Nature of Work

b) Data analysis, interpretation and execution of the oceanographic data by using different software's like Surfer, Grapher, Matlab, Ocean Data Viewer etc.

c) Associated with Marine Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) studies for different areas ranging from offshore, near shore, estuaries, creeks etc.

d) Carried out the scientific data compilation and report preparation.

e) Experienced in handling various instruments like CTD (Seabird), Current meter (Aanderaa), Tide gauge (Aanderaa), Echo sounder etc. in local field works and generating data from these instruments for report preparation and research purposes.

f) Currently using Hydrodyn Software for Coastal Modelling. This software is used for addressing various oceanographic parameters and has been developed by Environ Software, Bangalore.
