BIOGRAPHY
Raghda
Fouda, a specialist in pathology and laboratory medicine who graduated from the
school of medicine, Cairo University, and completed a Ph.D. degree in clinical
pathology and laboratory medicine with diagnostic immunohematology and
transfusion medicine as a major. She have ten-year laboratory experience during
which she developed skills in a wide range of laboratory techniques including
bone marrow pathology, molecular studies, in situ hybridization and Flow
cytometry as well as blood banking and stem cell transplantation. She has
interest in immunology and hematology research as well as regenerative medicine
and stem cell research. She have a number of publication in the field of
immune-hematology, transfusion medicine, hematological disorders, inflammation
and obesity and their effect on number of body system with high concern on
vascular endothelium and cardiologic complication and recently led a research
team concerned with COVID19 pathogenesis and immune response. Currently, she
have joined Stem Cell Research Center in University of California Irvine,
working on the development of a humanized rat model for the cause of treatment
retinal degeneration using stem cell therapy.
