BIOGRAPHY
Mr. Shah
Jumaat Mohd.Yussof is a Consultant & Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon
and Senior Lecturer in Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Teknologi
MARA . He has a special interest in LASERs, Aesthetic Surgery and Burns. He is
the current Head of Plastic Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine UiTM. Mr. Shah
graduated in 2001 from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. He underwent
his early surgical training in Ireland and was conferred the Membership in
Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2004. Mr. Shah
completed his Plastic Surgical Training at Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2009.
He has undergone further training in Aesthetic/Cosmetic Surgery at Siriraj
Hospital, Mahidol University in Bangkok, Thailand. Besides his clinical work,
Mr. Shah has also published articles related to plastic surgery in both local
and international journals. Mr. Shah is a member of the Main Credentialing and
Privileging Committee for Aesthetic Medical Practice, Ministry of Health
Malaysia. He also sits on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Surgical
Dermatology and the International Journal of Transplantation and Plastic
Surgery. Mr. Shah is currently the Secretary of the Malaysian Society of
Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (MSPRS) and the President of the Malaysian
Society for Burns Injuries (MSBI).
